I am…

I am…

a son, the youngest of two, raised in the country on tractors and cars, a calm life in the country with nobody else around.

a brother, the nice one of the group, born with a sister who was mean.

a grandson, missing riding dirtbikes down the back roads, shooting cans off of the old white fence post, watching my sister run grandpa’s fourwheeler into the old barn.

driving grandpa’s old Chevy to the store to get soda and candy.

I am…

sweet tea and Dr. Pepper, pizza and chicken strips.

old cars, muscle cars, when people don’t care about gas prices and just race, when kids would meet up on back roads and race their Camaro’s, Mustang’s, and Trans Am’s, that’s what I enjoy, the smell of burnt tires and 91 octane.

happy almost every single day, can’t wait for the weekends, always wanting to go to the skatepark or to my dad’s house to ride dirtbikes out in the woods, or going out to the drag strip and watching my dream cars make passes at the strip.

everytime I start talking about cars I get excited and can’t quit talking about them.

skateboarding, when I am doing it I don’t have a worry in the world, and it will always make me happy.

I am…

blue eyes

  1. I'm so glad you're "happy almost every single day" and I hope that never changes for you. I can relate to a lot of your details about life in the country with your grandparents and I live for the weekends, too. Nice work.
