Creative Writing Final

1.       One of our journal entries that we did was called the Window Poem, and we wrote about what we saw out of the window we were looking at. What I wrote was I see a field, with two old AMC trucks. A dirt bike track, a dog lying down out on the dirt pile. And to the right I see a concrete slab. To my left I see a counter with bills, and random mail. Today I look out and see a third truck is out there, a 1986 Dodge truck. The field has grass that I sometimes mow when it gets about knee high. I look out of the window, and the tiny shed my dad made a few years ago is covered up with tall grass towards the end of summer. Inside the shed there is a set of wheels, and way beyond that there is an old cemetery. Another journal entry that we have done was when we were talking about pictures, and we had the question about who took our pictures in the family. I wrote down that either my mom or my sister is the one who is always taking pictures.
2.       Some reading that I have done over this semester is that I read is The Catcher and The Rye, The Crucible, and The Great Gatsby. All of which I had to read in English Three.
3.    From setting up my blog I have gotten to make it my own, and I have also gotten better at writing, and typing. The name of my blog was just my name, because I couldn’t think of any names at the time. I posted about things that were assigned, and I also posted about things that I like for example cars.
4.       A lot of poems and answers to questions were in my journal, and I think that my mom would like reading that because she likes to read stuff like that. I don’t think that I will continue to keep writing in my journal mainly because it kills my hand. If I did keep writing in my journal I would probably just ramble on about cars like usual.
5.       One thing that can really make my day is if I had a lot of fun. And that I got to spend the whole day with some of my friends, and if I went to the skate park and skated good that day. That or if me and my dad got to spend time together, because we aren’t that close to each other anymore. If I could spend more time with a friend that I knew it would probably be my friends that I meet at Camp Woodward, which is a skate camp in Pennsylvania. I only got to hang out with them for a week, and they were really cool people. They were from Nashville, so they don’t live to close to me.
6.       This passage was just a random one that I wrote on my own time when I was bored.  I was writing about my favorite car, and I am actually about to buy one within a couple of weeks. My dream car is between a 1998 and 2002 LS1 Camaro, and a LS1 is a type of motor that I am obsessed with. It’s my favorite car, because it is fast, looks good, and overall is just an awesome car.
7.       Writing creatively gets stuff off of your mind, and it’s a good way to express your feelings. And the class is not stressful at all, so that also helps.

Dan in Real life questions

Three tips that I would give parents about teenagers. One is that we usually won't listen and just do whatever we want, and another thing is that we like to have a lot of freedoms.

I don't think you can know if you are in love with somebody within three days, because that is a small amount of time.

My best hiding spot in a hide and seek usually was underneath beds.

I don't think I am a great bowler, but I am not as bad as Steve Corell. Last time I bowled it was like a 190.

For a girl to be a "hottie" for me is that they usually have to be tan, and not annoying as hell.

A perfect day for me would be a nice and sunny day, and for me to be with some of my good friends.

Music

I asked Ms. BK my music questions, and she said that her two favorite artists are Maroon 5 and Adele. She said that she has been to hundreds of concerts, and one of her favorites would have to be the Metallica concert that she went to. She said that she really doesn't like Keisha, or Justing Bieber and she doesn't know why people would waste their money or time on them. The very first concert she ever went to was a Queen concert, and the most recent one she went to was when Elton John came to town.

Music

It depends on what kind of music I’m listening to that makes my mood. Because some music gets me hyped up, and some of the music I listen to calm me down. Without music I think that everything would be more plain, because people would have less characteristics then they do now. I would never want to be a musician, because I know that I would never be good at it. A type of music that I don’t think should be tolerated is like really hardcore music, because half of the time you can’t even understand what they are saying. It sounds terrible to, and it usually gives me headaches because of how horrible it is. Music changes my mood, and if I am needing to get pumped I listen to a couple songs and then I am pumped. My favorite song right now is called “Well Done” because it has a good flow, and it is calm but I still get pumped off of it.

Childhood Memories...

One of my childhood memories that I have that I don’t like would probably be about when I broke my arm when I was five years old. The way I broke my arm was that my sister was mad at me, and she pushed me and I flipped down the stairs. I can remember how pissed my mom was right after it happened. It didn’t even hurt that bad, I was just really mad. So five months later after I got my cast off of my arm I broke it again! This time I feel off of the monkey bars and landed on my arm completely wrong.
I think the most important person in my childhood would probably have to be my dad, because he got me into dirt bikes when I was four. And dirt bikes have given me a lot of fun and friends for about twelve years, but came with that was broken bones. So far I broke my left arm once and my right arm twice. I have also broken my leg, and have had five concussions.
Family fun nights were more like family fun weekends, because we spent a lot of our time racing dirt bikes since me and my dad both rode. So my sister and my mom would tag along and watch us. We had just a normal little truck and about a twelve foot long trailer, so we would sleep in the truck or the trailer, and sometimes we would sleep in a tent. And I loved the outdoors so the entire time I was having a blast. We would always stay up late, and hang out with our friends around a fire and it was always a good time.
My injuries started when I was around three, or four years old. The first bad injury I had was I tried to ride my little toy tractor down some stairs, and at the bottom of the stairs there was a door that was closed so I ran straight into the closed door. That gave me a busted open eye. I also try the same thing, except this time it was me on roller skates. And the door was closed once again. This time I believe I busted my head open. Then when I was five years old my sister tripped me down the stairs, and I broke my arm. A week after I got my cast off I broke the same arm on the monkey bars. Then when I was eight year old I broke my left arm riding dirt bikes in the winter. The way I broke this arm I hit a patch of ice, and the handlebars smashed my arm. This injury really hurt me! Then when I was ten I broke my left leg also riding dirt bikes. This time I just landed on it wrong. In sixth grade I fractured my foot by jumping off my chair in the living room, and my foot pretty much just folded over.

WS Sick.

This is a 2002 Trans Am WS6, and it is probably one of my favorite cars. I have wanted one forever, and hopefully eventually one day I can get one. I have been saving up money for one for about a year now. I have dreams about this car, and I personally think that it is the best looking car ever. Suprisingly you can buy theses pretty cheap.

"Maybe I will go to Paris. Who knows? But I'll sure as hell won't go back to Texas."

The person who came up with this quote is James Crumley, and he is known for writing Crime Novels. This quote is from the book "The Last Good Kiss." The book is about a guy who spends his extra time in Montana at a topless bar. He ends up trying to track down a girl that has been missing for a decade.
